America is known for its freedom. However, many books have been banned from certain retailers like Barnes and Nobles, and Amazon. Actually, quite a few classics like Harry Potter and other silly books like Captain Underpants have been banned from retailers or other countries. There’s a few that make sense, like The Day Dad Killed Mom (😰) and What’s Happening To My Body? But some on the list, like Harry Potter (which is actually #1), The Giver, and The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, are childhood classics that hundreds of people read regularly.
Usually these books are banned because of language (The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn), sex, and religion based offenses. But most probably several of the books on the list you have read, and probably wonder, “Why is this on the list?”
Just think about it. If you look at it enough, anything can be found offensive.
