It’s raining spiders!!

Believe it or not, in some places of the world, it actually rains spiders.

It’s not just in Jamaica either. This phenomenon (if you can call it that) occurs worldwide. 

This happens because baby spiders, as soon as they are born, make a parachute of sorts out of spider silk. They then use it as a glider and let the wind carry them to new destinations. This is called “ballooning”. 

Actually, that sounds pretty relaxing. For the spiders, anyway.
