The Stuggles of being a Vegetarian

It’s hard being a vegetarian.

Pretty much every restaurant’s

Whenever you tell someone, they reel in shock and say, “No meat?! How??” It seems like most people in today’s world can’t live without meat.

Some people stop at that. But others, they try to analyze your lifestyle. “Why are you vegetarian? Why don’t you eat meat? Where do you get proteins?” And all that.

Now, I’m not saying that asking these questions is wrong. It’s actually good. But the way the ask it. They talk like they are talking to an alien or something.

I still remember, in first grade. This one kid, he was asking me all these questions like “People already make meat, what’s the point of not eating?” They’re almost like Christian missionaries trying to convert me to their meat-filled religion.

I guess some people just can’t tolerate other views and beliefs. Does it really matter to them?

  1. I became a vegetarian this last spring. I have been eating vegetarian for a long time though, just had chicken here or there. I don’t and never have really liked eating meat. I’m with you. Tone is everything in a conversation or when inquiring isn’t it?! 🙂
